Biography
Victoria is a classically trained Jamaican-American actor, singer, voiceover artist and musician based in London and New York City with dual citizenship (USA & UK).
After graduating from Wellesley College with degrees in theatre and psychology, Victoria furthered her studies with an MFA from East 15 Acting School. She is also a proud alumna of the National Theatre Institute where she participated in a residency with Complicite Theatre Company (UK) and Orchard Project (NY) where she apprenticed Ryan J. Haddad and Neena Beeber 1:1.
She started with music at 3 years old, only adding more instruments over the years. However, decidedly focused on violin and clarinet as her main instruments and later fell into singing. She has experience training in dance (tap, hip hop, flamenco, tango, ballet) and circus arts.
She is a collaborative storyteller who delves into her work with dedication, authenticity, and deep curiosity. In tandem with devoted research, she incorporates the teachings and practices of a variety of methods (Stanislavsky, Grotowski, Hagen, Linklater, Droznin) making her a well-rounded, versatile, and conscientious actor.
An avid traveler based in London and New York City, Victoria appreciates cultural exchange, immersing herself in different cultures. Outside of acting, she also enjoys scuba diving and reading psychology articles/publications.
Victoria challenges herself, developing her skills and craft through involvement in multiple stage productions and films. Growth comes from diving into experiences head first with an openness to learning all that comes from a role. She has acted in the Young Playwright’s Festival through The Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, performed as Guiderius in Cymbeline at the Shakespeare’s Globe, lead in Yard Away Home (75th anniversary of Empire Windrush in London), and has done various performance projects in New York, Massachusetts, Florida, Ireland, and London, UK.
